5-6 Months

5-6 months for the boys was a time of celebrations.  First, was Christmas, second, was New Year's, and third was Mom's birthday!  Luckily, the boys were able to sleep through all the fireworks being shot off in our neighborhood on New Year's Eve.  We were worried about that!
For Mom's birthday, Grandpa and Nana kept the boys at their house overnight so mom and dad could have a night alone.  This was the first time the boys spent the night somewhere else.  They had a lot of fun hanging out with Grandpa and Nana, but they sure didn't let them sleep much!  I think the boys as well as Grandpa and Nana really enjoyed their time together.

We were such good boys!

At this age, Carson and Cole's favorite toys were their Lovey Dog and Moo Cow and Buzz and Woody.  The boys also started enjoying play time in their playroom.  Bumbo seats we borrowed from a friend came in very handy and helped to boys learn to sit up.

The boys just keep growing so fast!  It has been fun watching them grow and discover how to play with their toys.  The boys have also grown up enough to sit in the stroller as big boys!  This made outings much easier and much more fun for the boys and mom and dad:)  Carson and Cole got to try peas and squash for the first time between 5 and 6 months.  The peas were ok to them, but they immediately loved the squash!!

Loving the stroller like big boys!
